Slivers-of-Time Working is for anyone with spare hours to sell to local employers and is now available across Merseyside through U&Me Recruitment
This new way of working gives individuals immediate cash, all sorts of skills and a verified CV of successful short bookings. Employers get an ultra-flexible, motivated, pool of top-up workers who can be booked at short notice. They can be economically trained.

How does it work?
- You register through the Slivers-of-Time website.
- Whenever you need staff, you for to the website and input your requirements.
- Immediately you see who wants to do that specific booking. They are ranked by their reliability and their pay rates.
- Decide who you want. The system sends them a text message.
- They confirm and do the work. You sign an online timesheet and receive a consolidated timesheet.

The whole system is internet-based, so you don’t need any software installed or additional software. Someone who sells their Slivers-of-Time should expect variety. They might work 90 minutes today helping a café through their lunchtime rush, then do 2 hours of leaflet delivery tomorrow evening and perhaps a morning at a supermarket next weekend.
You decide when you are available for work. You set the rules used to work out the pay-rate you would require for any booking for which you’re suitable. As you take more bookings the system shows employers how reliable you’ve been.
You can register with Slivers-of-Time by visiting the U&Me Recruitment Slivers-of-Time website. You will need an email address and your own mobile phone. There are a number of registration centres across Merseyside that can provide you with help and when you fill in your details on the website you will be the location of your nearest office.
